You can slightly exceed this weight; the only important thing is that it must fit in the hold placed in the top storage compartment. What is more, Air Malta airline allows the passengers to bring an extra load of 2 kg, which can be placed under the seat. It is a special type of luggage that allows you to carry your camera, netbook or tablet. However, it cannot exceed the dimensions: 40 x 30 x 15 cm. Importantly, the luggage at Air Malta cannot contain sharp objects, such as razor blades or nail files. If you want to transport cosmetics or drinks, remember that you must fit in the 100-ml product limit.

Air Malta does not stand out from other carriers and, like most, offers business and economic class hauls. Depending on what class you choose, you can count on different benefits. It’s not hard to guess that the economic class at Air Malta comes with smaller benefits. You can, of course, purchase a cheaper Air Malta flight, but you must adapt to the travel rules set by the carrier. Air Malta business class allows for a dedicated business class check-in. In practice, this means, of course, faster check-in and an easier access to the boarding pass. In addition, people flying in business class can count on relaxation in a specially prepared room. This is a great convenience. Of course, having an Air Malta business ticket you can benefit from the cancellation option without incurring additional costs.

At Air Malta, online check-in is really simple. Just go to the site to the appropriate tab, enter your data, answer a few security questions, and then print your boarding pass. Air Malta online check-in  allows you to arrive at the airport no later than 45 minutes before departure. While at the site, you drop off your checked luggage and go on board. It’s a great solution that significantly saves you time and makes the journey less tiring. You do not have to arrive at the airport much earlier. Remember, however, that Air Malta still doesn’t offer online check-in for all destinations. It is worth checking in advance whether our destination is included in Air Malta online check-in. Also, be sure to watch the time! Online check-in allows you to arrive at the airport almost an hour later, but if you do not show up on time, the plane will leave without you.

Hence, access to the head office of the Air Malta airline is quite easy. There are also shops and restaurants at the airport, so you can easily organise your time, waiting for the plane.

Interestingly, if you buy a business class ticket, you will be able to use the VIP room, i.e. Valletta Club . The room is located at the airport, so that travellers can relax in silence before the flight. Air Malta also allows you to travel with animals. The Maltese airlines allow cats and dogs up to 10 kg to travel in the passenger cabin. Other animals are transported in a special room. Free Air Malta meals are served to those who have purchased a business class ticket, but you can use the restaurant at the airport, as well as right after check-in.
