Qatar
Qatar is a country in South-Western Asia, on the Arabian Peninsula by the Persian Gulf. The capital is Doha, and other important cities include Al Rayyan and Al Wakrah. The country borders only Saudi Arabia. The official language is Arabic, though English is also widely used. Qatar is characterised by desert landscapes and a dry tropical climate. Winters are mild (around 17°C) and summers hot (38-44°C). The best time to visit is from December to February.
