Slovenia
Slovenia, in Southern Europe on the Adriatic, borders Italy, Austria, Hungary and Croatia. The capital is Ljubljana. It is one of the most prosperous countries in Central and Eastern Europe. Slovenia is largely mountainous, with Triglav (2,864 m) as its highest peak. Here you will find the beautiful lakes Bled and Bohinj as well as numerous karst caves such as Postojna Cave. The climate is temperate and the best time to visit is spring and summer. The official language is Slovenian.
