Honolulu
Honolulu, the capital of Hawaii, is located on the island of Oʻahu and is home to about 343,000 residents. A seaport and tourist paradise, it is famous for Waikīkī Beach and the historic Pearl Harbor base. The city was founded in 1816 and has been the capital of the region since 1845. Over half of the population is of Asian descent. The climate is tropical, with temperatures ranging from 24 °C to 31 °C. The best time to visit is during the winter months, when the weather is pleasant and dry, perfect for sightseeing and enjoying the beach.
