Miami, on the Atlantic coast of Florida, is a major financial and cultural centre. The city is home to 442 thousand people, while the whole metropolitan area has more than 6 million. Miami draws visitors with its beaches, the street art of the Wynwood district and the lively nightlife of South Beach. Average temperatures range from 20°C in winter to 30°C in summer. It is best visited in spring or autumn, when the weather is pleasant and the city is full of cultural events.
