What's worth seeing in Agadir?

Agadir is one of the most beautiful Moroccan resorts on the Atlantic Ocean. Golden sands of the desert, fabulous boulevards, view of camels resting in the shade - where the rush is not indicated. A lazy afternoon on the beach, a stroll around the medieval ruins of Oufella or a relaxing cruise combined with fishing, are just some of the city's many attractions. The Agadir coast offers excellent conditions for water sports such as windsurfing, paddleboarding, and jet-skiing. Water equipment and a boat can be rented on site. In the city, there are also golf courses and interesting hiking and cycling routes. Great experience will be a ride on a horse or camel along the sandy beach. In the area, you will find several picturesque nature reserves, including Crocoparc and famous for its beautiful waterfalls, Paradise Valley.

An inseparable element of the urban landscape is colorful marketplaces. One of them is Souk El Had. It is also worth visiting the fishing port where fish are sold straight from the catch. For an unusual souvenir of the trip, you can visit the L'Echappée Belle shop, Etape Berbère. Whereas in an Arab bath, massage salon or SPA center, which are strong in numbers there, you can regenerate after a tiring day.

In the evenings Moroccans, who like nightlife, come to the beach promenade. In Agadir, we can easily find places open at night, including Zanzibar Bar Lounge. In addition, it's worth taking part in the magical Agadir Berber Night event. It is an amazing spectacle, combining oriental music, dancing, and tasting of local specialties.

Moroccan cooking is a unique combination of Arabic and French cuisine. It is worth trying the traditional "tajine", stewed meat with vegetables, served in a clay dish of the same name. The local delicacy is also "harira" – thick soup with lentils, beans, and groats. In restaurant menus, apart from fish and seafood dishes, you can also find a filling soup with snails and roasted camel meat. For a traditional Moroccan dinner and iconic mint tea, it is worth visiting the restaurant Babakoul or La Ville Blanche. You will get delicious ice cream at the Audrey Artisan Ice Cream Shop.
