Get to know more about Flybe

British airline Flybe was founded as a result of the merger of two other airlines: Intra Airways and Air Express Service. It started its operations under the name Jersey European Airways in 1979. In June 2000, the carrier first changed its name to British European, and on the 18th of July 2002 to Flybe, becoming a low-fares airline. On the 3rd November 2006 Flybe bought the carrier BA Connect, and a complete takeover took place in March the following year. On the 14th of January 2008 they signed a franchise deal with the British airline Loganair. On the 10th of December 2010, Flybe entered the London Stock Exchange. The airline served only connections to European countries.

Onboard you could take hand luggage. The sizes and weights could vary depending on the booking class or route. The checked luggage in Flybe also had to have specified sizes and weights which depended on the route and the booking class.

Booking classes

The airline Flybe offered three fares: Just Fly, Get More and All In.
