Luggage
In the Turkish Airlines onboard you can take hand luggage. Its sizes and weight are specified by the airline and can differ depending on booking class or route.

Booking classes
Passengers can book tickets in three classes.
Space between seats in economic class is 78 cm, seats lean back by 15 cm. Each seat is equipped in a socket for charging electronic devices and USB jack. In comfort class seats have width of 49 cm, and space to another seat is at 116 cm. A seat can lean back by 22 cm. Each seat has increased space for legs. Seats in business class after unfolding have length of 188 cm. They are equipped in massage function, reading light, big headboard that allows to cut off from the surrounding.
Online check-in
From 24 hours to 90 minutes before the scheduled flight passengers can do online check-in and choose their seat. Luggage drop-off can be conducted at the airport until 60 minutes before the take-off in case of international flights and 45 minutes in domestic flights.
Fleet
The Turkish airline has 262 planes, including 88 Boeings 737-800, 43 Airbuses A321-200 and 33 Airbuses A320-200.
Istanbul Airport
Istanbul’s main airport is located in its European part, 35 km north-west from the city centre. Built in the years 2015-18, on April 2019 it took over the role of the city’s main airport after one of the formerly largest airports in Europe - Istanbul-Atatürk.
Istanbul Airport currently consists of one terminal, which is the largest construction of this type in the world located under one roof. The existing terminal has been designed to handle 90 million passengers annually. The airport expansion plan assumes the construction of additional terminals that will be able to handle as many as 200 million passengers a year in 2030.
Refreshments
In economic class served are hot or cold dishes, depending on distance and destination of route. Menu is prepared on base of best European and Turkish cuisine. On long-distance flights passengers are offered also sandwiches and cookies. Special dishes are served on all international lights.
In comfort class passengers are welcomed by drink, and additionally menu has dishes made of fresh products, warm dishes, desserts, fruits and board of cheeses. Before the landing passengers again are offered warm or cold dish.
Dishes served in business class depends on route of a flight. On long-distance ones passenger get wo dishes and snacks. A vide choice of starters and soup is just the prelude for culinary journey with Turkish Airlines, which isn’t lacking strong Turkish coffee or national titbits.
Additional services
On some routes you can also use video on demand services, in which there are films, audiobooks and entertainment programs for kids.
Additionally passenger have possibility to send messages or mails during the flight. Cost for sending a message is $1.60.

Truly exceptional 5 star service
I was truly impressed by the service provided by Turkish Airlines - from 3 gourmet meals on board (two flights), a selection of countless movies, television, wifi, etc. free of charge, and the overall comfort of the flight.

Could have been so much more
When I went to check in they had major problems with their website and blamed you! I love to travel with them but 5he food from CT to Istanbul was awful. Thankf65he flight from Istanbul to Valemcia wasn't full as got some great but again the food is not great, which is sad as it used to be.
