easyJet

EasyJet (styled as easyJet) is a British airline. It’s the second-largest airline in Europe by number of passengers carried, and the third in the world.
EasyJet was established in 1995 by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, a Greek-Cypriot born British entrepreneur. It started operating with 2 wet-leased Boeing 737-200 aircraft from London Luton Airport to 2 domestic destinations – Edinburgh and Glasgow. Its first international flight from London to Amsterdam took place in 1997. Today, easyJet covers both domestic and international destinations on over 600 routes across more than 32 countries in Europe and North Africa. The British airline offers flights to 2 Polish cities – Cracow and Lublin. The airports served by easyJet are located not far from the city centers. The Luton-based British carrier has 24 other bases across Europe; the largest one is London Gatwick.

Baggage

British airline easyJet allows passengers to take 1 cabin bag on board. The size and weight limits may vary depending on the booking class and the destination. There’re also specific dimensions and weight limits for the checked-in baggage, which again depends on the booking class and the route.

Travel Classes

The Standard Fare is the most basic option and doesn’t include any extra services.
With easyJet Flexi tickets, passengers are allowed to change the flight dates and times as well as the flight route. Also, they can use dedicated bag drop desks and are called first for boarding.

Online Check-in

You can check in online for your flight between 30 days and 2 hours before the scheduled departure time. The next step is to print out the boarding pass, or download it on your smartphone (if you’re flying out of the airport where the mobile boarding pass is accepted).

Fleet

The easyJet fleet consists of 200 aircraft, including Airbus A319-100, A320-200, and Boeing 737-200. The average age of the fleet is 3.5 years.

London Luton Airport

It’s an international airport located around 4 km away from the city center of Luton and approximately 55 km northwest of the center of the British capital. It is the fourth-largest airport serving the London area. At the airport, you can find cafés, restaurants, bars, various shops (including duty-free outlets), and car rentals. There are free Wi-Fi network and Internet café available for passengers.

In-flight Meals

EasyJet doesn’t serve complimentary meals on its flights. However, food and drinks can be purchased on board for an extra charge.

Additional Services

Passengers can order lunch at the easyJet Bistro or buy cosmetics and souvenirs on board.
