Air Europa

Air Europa is one of Spain’s largest airlines. They transport passengers to fascinating destinations across Europe, Africa and the Middle East as well as21 destinations in the USA and Latin America. Its European network takes passengers to 26 destinations in Spain and Europe and its Summer service includes captivating destinations such as Athens, Santorini, and Alghero, as well as North African destinations including Marrakech and Tunis.

Air Europa has made sustainability one of the main pillars of its 2023-2025 strategy and is moving towards a green future with its "Vuelo 2030" project, which brings together 45 environmental, economic, and social initiatives.

Fleet unification

Air Europa has completed its fleet unification plan, concentrating its aircraft on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner for transoceanic flights and the Boeing 737 for short and medium-haul routes. This strategy allows the airline to stand out in terms of performance and operational efficiency, achieving greater efficiency in the ratio between fuel consumption and passenger movements. Air Europa currently has 27 Boeing 737s and 26 Boeing Dreamliners, and it will add new units to further expand its network and continue to offer customers more options and flexibility.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, one of the world's most advanced long-haul aircraft, is capable of reducing fuel consumption by 25% compared to other similar models and improving noise impact by 60%, thanks to its technological innovations and design. The use of these two models has contributed to reducing emissions by serving a greater number of passengers on fewer flights.

The first Boeing 737 Max aircraft are expected to arrive in 2024, making Air Europa the first Spanish airline to operate them.

New destinations

Air Europa connects its passengers to a wide range of destinations around the world. We currently operate flights to 22 destinations in the Americas, 15 in Europe, and around twenty in Spain, ensuring extensive coverage and versatile travel options for all our customers.

Our hub at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport plays a crucial role in our network, serving as a 360° connection hub between Europe and the Americas. In 2024, we have significantly increased the number of seats available to passengers thanks to a progressive increase in the fleet, reflecting our commitment to comfort and accessibility. Air Europa has inaugurated a new route to Santiago de los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic, further expanding its connections in the Caribbean and becoming the European airline with the highest number of weekly flights to the Dominican Republic. It has also resumed the route to the city of canals, Venice, and during the summer, it has returned to enchanting destinations such as Athens, Tunis, and Marrakech, offering passengers more options for their vacations and getaways.
