Bus
You can get to the airport from New York by buses or buses. Passengers switch to Jamaica Station on the monorail train AirTrain, which delivers them to the appropriate terminal. Information about booking bus tickets, departure times are located near the check-in at each airport terminal.
Train
To New York Airport (JFK), take the Long Island Rail Road or subway A. LIRR passengers change at Jamaica Station, while the Howard Beach subway line takes the AirTrain monorail to the respective terminal (cost of $ 5). The AirTrain monorail can be used for free only within the airport, between terminals, parking lots and car rental outlets.
The characteristic yellow taxis belonging to the New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission offer a transfer from the airport to Manhattan for a fixed fee of $ 45. The journey in the opposite direction, from Manhattan to New York airport (JFK), costs as indicated by the taximeter.
The most convenient way to reach the airport is by expressways: Van Wyck No. 678 from Manhattan and JFK from the east of Long Island.
