    Sabiha-Gökçen airport is located 35 kilometers south-east of Istanbul, and it is the second airport (together with Atatürk airport) servicing Istanbul. The airport was built due to the growing number of passengers traveling to and from the country, who could not be serviced by Atatürk airport. Sabiha-Gökçen airport operates both – international flights (terminal for 3 million passengers annually) and national flights (terminal for maximum 0.5 million of passengers). The airport was named in honor of the first Turkish pilot woman - Sabiha-Gökçen.

    By bus

    Buses lines are connecting the airport with different locations of the city. These lines are available: E3, E9, E10, 16S and 132.

    Getting to the airport is easy. You can reach it by the E80 and D100 road, and so-called seaway, leading through Kaynarca.

    Passenger service – there is a post office in the arrivals hall. There is also a medical point and the pharmacy.
