Al-Ula
Al-Ula is a town and oasis in north-western Saudi Arabia, around 20 km from Mada'in Salih. Known for its rich history connected with the biblical Dedan, it draws lovers of archaeology. The surrounding area holds ancient Nabataean tombs and spectacular rock formations. Al-Ula lies in the desert, where winter temperatures range from 10 to 25 °C. The best time to visit is the period from November to March, when conditions are more pleasant for sightseeing.
