To get from Poland to Barcelona you can also take a flight to Barcelona-Girona Airport (IATA code: GRO). It is served by budget and charter airlines. Flights from Poland are provided by the charter carrier, Enter Air on the following routes: Warsaw – Barcelona, Gdańsk – Barcelona, and Katowice – Barcelona. Also, Ryanair provides flights to Girona, operating the routes from Kraków to Barcelona and Wrocław to Barcelona. The carrier offers also seasonal flights from Poznań to Barcelona.

Barcelona’s third airport, Barcelona-Reus, is situated 90 kilometers away from the city center. It used mainly during the summer tourist season. Low-cost airline Ryanair operates regular flights to Barcelona-Reus. It, however, doesn’t offer any direct connection from Poland.

How to get from Barcelona Airport to the city center?

Barcelona-El Prat, the primary airport in Barcelona, is within spitting distance of the city – only 10 kilometers away. Depending on the traffic, the drive from the airport to Barcelona will take approximately 20-30 minutes. If you’re renting a car, take the C-31 road eastwards and head for the city center.

It is also possible to reach the center of Barcelona by public transportation. Passengers arriving at Terminal T1, have to take a shuttle bus to Terminal 2B. This is where a railway station is located, thanks to which you can easily get from Barcelona Airport to the city center. The No. 2 train line runs every 30 minutes and provides access to the metro station from where passengers can go to almost any place in Barcelona.   

The airport in Barcelona is also served by private bus lines and taxi companies.
