Going to the city market is also a must-do. Every Wednesday, Jan Power Farmers’ Market takes place, visit it at the lunch-time for great fresh food and delicious juices. There are also so-called twilight markets organised in Brisbane in the evenings. Eat Street Northshore and Boundary Street Markets offer the dishes of almost every cuisine in the world. During the second market, you may also listen to live music!
About eighty kilometres from the city there is a famous Gold Coast. It is a paradise for surfers and sunbathers missing the sun. Blue water and almost six-kilometre long beach are really tempting. After an active day, you can sit in one of the coastal bars and admire the phenomenal sunset!
