Sri Lanka, an island nation in South Asia, is located on the island of Ceylon, separated from India by the Palk Strait. Celebrated for its diverse landscapes, the country offers stunning beaches, lush tropical forests, and historic sites such as the ancient ruins of Anuradhapura. Colombo, the main city, serves as the cultural and commercial heart of the country. Thanks to its tropical climate, temperatures remain high throughout the year; however, the best time to visit is from December to March, when the weather is dry and sunny.
