Czechia is a landlocked country in Central Europe that has existed since 1993, following the division of Czechoslovakia. It borders Poland, Germany, Austria and Slovakia. The capital is Prague, famed for its beautiful architecture and rich history. The country is made up of Bohemia proper, Moravia and Czech Silesia. It is home to more than 10.5 million people, 94% of them Czechs. The temperate climate makes spring and autumn ideal for a visit, when temperatures are mild. Castles, breweries and picturesque landscapes are all worth seeing.
