Israel
Israel, in the Middle East on the Mediterranean Sea, borders Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Egypt. It is home to 7.66 million people, most of them Jews (75%), with Arabs forming a significant minority (20%). The country is marked by religious diversity, encompassing Judaism, Islam, Christianity and the Druze. The best time to visit is spring and autumn, when temperatures are moderate and exploring historic places such as Jerusalem and Tel Aviv becomes all the more enjoyable.
