The international airport of Milan Malpensa is an Italian airport in the province of Varese, one of the two largest in the country and one of the three serving Milan. From the city centre, the port is approx. 50 km to the north-west. The airport's activities began in 1910, today it is extremely modern and offers a wide range of facilities. It resembles a small town, where not only you can eat well or do shopping, but also give yourself cosmetic treatments from the hairdresser's salon to the Finnish sauna. The children are also not neglected – there is a playroom at their disposal. The airport serves over one hundred regular and low-cost airlines, which annually generate passenger traffic of over 18.5 million. There is a hotel at the airport, and several others are in its immediate vicinity.

There is Malpensa Express between Milan Malpensa MXP Terminal 1 and Milan city centre (Cadorna Train Station). The approximate travel time is 40 minutes. The train runs every 30 minutes.
Taxi stands are in front of the terminals. They are white and equipped with taximeters. Transfer from the airport to the city center takes about 30 minutes, and the approximate cost to Milan is 90 EUR, Fair 65 EUR, Linate 100 EUR.

With your own car you can easily reach the Milan Malpensa MXP airport. The A8 motorway to Busto Arsizio leads from the center of Milan. Then choose the SS336 road leading straight to the airport. From Turin leads the A4 motorway to Novara. Then we take the SS32 road towards Ollegio and follow the signs to Malpensa airport. From Genoa or Alessandria we follow the A26 motorway to Sesto Callende, then follow the signs of Somma Lombardo and Malpensa.
