Agadir
Agadir is a city in southern Morocco, on the Atlantic Ocean in the Souss-Massa region. It is home to around 505 thousand people. The city is known for its well-developed fishing, timber and cement industries. Agadir has an international airport and 10 km of sandy beaches. An average of 300 sunny days a year makes it a popular resort. After the earthquake of 1960 the city was rebuilt, and a new Medina began to take shape in 1992. The best time to visit is spring and autumn.
