Edinburgh Airport is an international airport of the capital of Scotland, one of the most important in the UK. It is located 13 km west of the city centre of Edinburgh. The airport is served by over 40 airlines. Offers connections to over 100 destinations. Over 9 million passengers use its services during the year and this number is constantly growing. It is one of the fastest growing airports in the UK. Its beginnings date back to 1977. It is open 24 hours a day, 365/366 days a year. Bus
An alternative to car travel can be well-organized public transport. Buses stop just outside the arrivals hall.
Train
The airport does not have its own railway station. Waverley – the main railway station is in the centre of Edinburgh. From the airport you can easily reach it by bus. From there, we can go in the direction of our choice in Scotland or England. Many connections also offers a different train station – Edinburgh Haymarket station, which is located on the route between the airport and the city centre.
There is a taxi rank at the airport. Taxi stands are in front of the arrivals hall. The approximate driving time between the airport and the city centre is about 15-20 minutes.

Edinburgh airport is well located. It is located near the A8 road (halfway between Gogar and Newbridge roundabout). The developed road network allows you to cover the distance between the airport and the city centre of Edinburgh in about 20 minutes. Access from the city centre is extremely simple and well-marked. Follow the A8 route towards the west according to road signs that lead straight to the airport.

Short-term parking is located in front of the terminal building. At the airport there is also a multi-storey garage.

Gastronomy – there are bars, cafes and pubs in the airport.
Finance – you can use the services of currency exchange points and also withdraw money at several ATMs.
Shopping – duty free shops and other retail outlets offer a wide range of goods such as gifts, electronics, perfumes, groceries, clothes and footwear.
Car rental – five car rental stands are located in the domestic arrivals hall.
Luggage – a lost-and-found office is located on the ground floor of the arrivals hall. Passengers at several spots of the airport have trolleys for free luggage transport.
Internet – Wi-Fi is available at the airport.
