London Stansted International Airport is located about 48 km northeast of central London. It is the fourth largest airport in the United Kingdom and is also the third airport serving London. The origins of the port date back to the period of World War II: the runway was built in 1943 for military purposes. The area then operating under the name RAF Stansted Mountfitchet was used by the Royal Air Force and the US USAAF. Today London Stansted Airport consists of one terminal and three subterminals. Middle is operated by airberlin, easyJet, Ryanair, right only by Ryanair, while the left handles all other lines. Communication between the main terminal and the left and middle subterminal is ensured by an unmanned railway. Currently, the airport mainly serves low-fare airlines offering over 150 domestic and international calls. In 2015, almost 22.5 million passengers used the airport's services. There are several hotels near the airport.

Disorganized overcrowded dirty
Worst airport. Hot uncomfortable dirty bathrooms overcrowded restaurants not enough bathrooms. Just a horrible and exhausting experience

Waiting for plane
They checked us through and downstairs to small very overcrowded area. People were crammed it was hot someone fell very ill. They did nothing. They never should have checked us in knowing the gate was not ready. Horrible experience. The gate staff need to know this is unacceptable

I work for American Airlines but RyanAir is my next favorite airline✈️ Everyone is very courteous and friendly. Bag check went smoothly and border patrol was fast and courteous too.

Nightmare
Crowded, even at 5 in the morning, km ers of stinking perfume and chocolates before u get to the gate. No information beforehand that you have to take a train to some gates. It costs 1.50 to exchange an old 10 pound note into a new 10 pound note.
