Weather caused delays
The weather caused problem in Dublin. Because Ryanair was not prepared to de-ice planes it back logged all the flights out of Dublin which delayed Aer Lingus. The Gatwick staff did their best to take care of all the customers of Ryan Air that were left stranded. The airport did their best to try to make contact t with the airline but all communications were down due to the number of call.

Ryanair worst ever!!
Second review as lost my first review. Traveled May 9, 2019 from Gatwick to Dublin return the same day on a booking made in April, 2019. Unable to pre check in the nite before on my phone we had to Pay a fee of £55 each or not go to Dublin. We paid. After our 4 hour stay in Dublin back to the airport to go back to Gatwick. Because i had issues with my phone trying to keep the boarding passes to not to disappear i went to Ryanair counter to ask for paper boarding passes. Did i get them, no! The agent took my phone, she photo snap the boarding passes and said i wont lose them. On to security check in line up. Tried over and over to scan my phone, nothing. There was a agent in the assistance line, he used his lazer scanner and nothing. I ask him if he could call the Ryanair counter to tell them the passes wont scan but he said he could not. Back to the counter to tell them my phone wont scan, only to be insulted by the same agent who did the photo shot. She printed the passes and said she never had a issue before and could charge us £20 each for passes. Back to security and now the extremely long walk to the gate. Half way i said we are not going to make our flight. We didnt. Back to the counter to be told it was not their fault we missed the flight. The next flight had seats and the cost was now £100 each. I got mad and she told me to get back in the line. We had no choice to pay. There was the 2 rude agents and another who i waited to deal with. She was very nice and helpful. Paid the £200 , on standby only but we got seats. This 4 hour visit to Dublin now cost us £310. In our canadian currency that is $539.62 ca. Ryanair caused us to miss our flight and i expect someone to see that is what happened and credit me back the £200 . All this would not have happened if she just printed the passes when i ask. I work at the London International Airport in London On. Canada and when passengers are unable to download Or bring up their boarding passes, the airlines, Westjet and Air Canada print them at no charge. Sincerely, Linda Lane 120 Stuart Street, London, On. Canada. N5Y1S6

Long lines at passport control and over zealous security for a connecting international flight. Nonsensical.
