Alaska Airlines, founded in 1932 as McGee Airways, is an American airline based in SeaTac, Washington. Along with Horizon Air, it is a subsidiary of Alaska Air Group, an airline holding company established in 1985. It connects the state of Alaska to more than hundred destinations in the USA, Canada, Costa Rica and Mexico. With its large route network, sizeable fleet and the number of passengers carried, it is USA's fifth largest airline.
