Air Maroc

Royal Air Maroc is the national carrier of Morocco and the largest airlines in the country. It is fully owned by the government of Morocco. Royal Air Maroc was founded in 1953 upon the merger of two airlines. In the beginning, it operated as Compagnie Cherifienne des Transports Aeriens to receive its current name on June 28th, 1957. That was when the Moroccan carrier started offering international flights – first to Paris and Madrid. At present, Royal Air Maroc serves numerous airports in Africa, Asia, Europe, and both Americas, and occasionally provides charter services. It has already signed codeshare agreements with 10 airlines to build up a wide network of flight connections. Royal Air Maroc has its headquarters in Casablanca.

Royal Air Maroc allows passengers to take a cabin bag on board. It should always meet the size and weight restrictions specified by the airlines. They may vary depending on the booking class and the destination.

There are also specific dimensions and weight limits for the checked-in baggage. They depend on the booking class and the route too.

Travel Classes

Royal Air Maroc passengers can choose between Economy and Business travel classes. The former is the cheapest one and offers a basic standard whereas the Business class provides more comfort and pleasure as well as peace and quiet. Passengers are given their own spacious cabins with leather seats that extend into a fully flat bed and feature massage function. They are provided with a blanket and pillow, a set of toiletries and access to the changing room. Business class passengers can also relax at the VIP lounge at the Casablanca Airport.
