Jet Blue baggage policy
If you travel with registered baggage, make sure that your bag's weight does not exceed 50 pounds (23 kg). Passengers are allowed to bring 1 personal item (like laptop bag, purse or briefcase) and 1 carry-on bag free of charge. JetBlue luggage size and weight should not exceed: 17 x 13 x 8 inches (43.2 x 33 x 20.32 cm) for personal items, and 22 x 14 x 9 inches (55.88 x 35.56 x 22.86 cm) for carry-on luggage. Hand-luggage doesn't have weight restrictions however it should be light enough to be lifted into the overhead lockers without assistance. Additional items such as duty-free shopping, a coat, an umbrella or infant car seats are also permitted.
What are JetBlue baggage fees?
Depending on the class you've booked into, there are different JetBlue baggage fees. First checked-in bag is free of charge for the passengers of Blue Plus and Mint, as well as Mosaic and JetBlue Plus cardmembers. Second checked-in bag is included in the price of Mint and Mosaic air tickets. In other JetBlue fare classes a fee of $30 applies for the first bag, $40 for the second bag and $150 for the third bag.
What can you bring in your carry-on JetBlue
Take the things that bring you comfort: a neck pillow, a cardigan to wrap around, a book you love, or your favourite snack. If you bring liquids, make sure they are in 100 ml bottles.

JetBlue fare classes
There are five different class types in JetBlue offer. They're called Blue Basic, Blue, Blue Plus, Blue Extra and Mint. The cheapest JetBlue fare is Blue Basic - economic class. Get the “JetBlue experience you know and love” and pay the smallest fare. It's a perfect option if you don't mind where you sit. You can bring 1 carry-on bag and 1 personal item onborad. Blue class is great if you travel with family or friends because early seating selection is included in the price. Blue Plus fare brings another advantage covering one checked bag on top of your carry-on luggage. Blue Extra is a flexible fare allowing early boarding and permitting cancellation without a fee. JetBlue business class is called MINT. Its price covers checking 2 pieces of registered luggage and 1 carry-on.
JetBlue MINT what's included?
Flying JetBlue business class – Mint, you can get several different bonuses to make your journey more pleasant. Travellers of the first class are welcome with a Mint lemonade. Apart from delicious meal service, JetBlues Mint seats are flat-foldable with massage function and softness regulation. The whole journey runs generally smoother. Mint air tickets have a priority boarding, expedited security check and upon landing, they're the first ones to collect their luggage. With all that, JetBlue first class air tickets cost less than other airlines.
JetBlue snacks
Free JetBlue snacks are available on all JetBlue flights. Complimentary hot and cold beverages like water, juice, tea or coffee are also included. On flights longer than two hours, the passenegrs may choose from several different EatUp boxes including options like: energy fuel, savory bites, cheese n'crackers or party selection. All have branded names. JetBlue fresh food can be ordered during daytime flights between 5:30am and 9pm. A wide selection of wine, beer and spirits is also available. The menu with up-to-date prices can be checked on the carrier's website.
Additional Services
JetBlue Fly-Fi Internet is fast and available to all passenegrs. High definition television offers a selection of entertainment in several languages. Pair up the screen in front of you with your own device to play a game or use it as a remote control. Each seat has inbuilt USB ports and sockets allowing you to charge your device during flight.
How to check-in online with Jet Blue?
JetBlue online check-in is available for all of the passengers. It can be done without leaving home in just a few minutes. It's an easy way of checking-in. All you need is your personal ID card or passport, depending what you're travelling with. JetBlue online check-in should be done 24 hours before a JetBlue flight. If for some reason you cannot use online check-in, you can always do JetBlue check-in at the airport.
What aircrafts does Jet Blue have in their fleet?
JetBlue fleet is constantly growing with every opportunity to expand the business. Over 200 JetBlue aircrafts are mainly Airbus aircrafts but also Embraer jets. JFK Airport
The main hub of the JetBlue airlines is the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. It's also one of the biggest international airports in the North America, so if your gate is located in Terminal 4, you might need even 18 minutes to walk there. The airport has a large selection of shops and diners in the duty free area. The passengers can enjoy free wifi. The airport is easily accessible via public and private means of transport. Located around 20 miles from New York City it takes about 30 minutes drive or about an hour journey using subway and AirTrain.

JetBlue continues to take the cake for great service
From the minute I exited my taxi on Sun., 5/5/19 at DCA, my experience w/travel via JetBlue to my destination continued on a positive path. I was able to confirm my flight on the kiosk, drop-off my luggage at the counter, and proceed on my way to the waiting area for my gate. The flight went well. The return flight had many delays caused by the weather, finding the crew, gate changes, etc., but JetBlue never failed to continue serve its clientele by providing snacks and water to waiting passengers inconvenienced by those delays.
