With Air Baltic, hand luggage (dimensions and weight) are strictly defined by the regulations of this carrier. You can take two bags on board, whose weight cannot exceed 8 kilograms. If necessary, you can increase the weight limit to 12 kilograms for an additional charge. The hand luggage of airBaltic consists of bags with dimensions 55x40x23 cm and 30x40x10 cm.

The number of baggages depend on the flight class, and some of the baggages do not require a surcharge. At the Air Baltic airlines there are two types of classes you can book, it’s either economic or business class. The basic economic class can have two variants: Basic and Premium. The first model allows you to bring on board one piece of hand luggage and a handbag of specific dimensions. It also guarantees a comfortable journey in an adjustable seat. In the Premium package you have the option of transporting your checked-in baggage, as well as a number of additional options at an extra charge. These include, among others, changing the date of the flight, canceling or changing the person for whom the ticket is purchased.

With Air Baltic Business Class you can take advantage of all these facilities free of charge. Additionally, the passenger is entitled to a three-course meal. As part of the ticket, the business class passenger also benefits from free drinks and cocktails as well as press lounges at the airport. His or her baggage can be larger by an additional bag on board and two pieces of checked baggage weighing up to 40 kilograms.

Air Baltic's online check-in is a way to get to your plane quickly without formalities at the airport. All you have to do is fill out your boarding pass with your personal data at home before departure. Then the printed document will be your ticket for boarding the plane. You also need to carry an ID card with you, which can be used to confirm your personal data.

In special cases, bookings can be made up to five days before the scheduled departure date. The condition is to book a seat on board. Passengers traveling on the basic fare can check-in 36 hours before the Air Baltic flight. Check-in at the airport entails an additional cost of 35 EUR per person.
