Suceava on the verge of the 15th and 16th century used to be the capital of Moldavia. Today it is one of the richest in historical buildings cities in Romania. What’s interesting, archaeological works proved that in this area settlements existed already in the ancient times.
Located on the river bank the Throne Tower was built at the end of the 14th century. The castle partially burned two centuries later and then was rebuilt.
