Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls is an impressive ensemble of three waterfalls on the border between Canada and the USA. The Niagara River, connecting Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, descends a height difference of 100 meters. On the American side are the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls, with heights ranging from 21 to 30 meters and a width of 320 meters, separated by Luna Island. The Canadian side features Horseshoe Falls, standing 53 meters tall and 790 meters wide, separated by Goat Island. The best time to visit is summer, when temperatures reach 25 °C and the falls display their full splendor.
