Cordoba
Córdoba, located in southern Spain on the Guadalquivir River, is the capital of the province in the Andalusia region. The city is renowned for its rich history dating back to Roman times when it was the capital of the province of Baetica. In the Middle Ages, it became a center of learning and culture under the rule of the Caliphate of Córdoba. Today, it attracts tourists with the famous Mezquita, a former mosque converted into a cathedral. Average temperatures range from 10 °C in winter to 37 °C in summer, and the best time to visit is spring and autumn.
