The city’s centre is situated on the right bank of the Danube, whereas on its second bank there are not largely inhabited suburbs. One of the most modern district of the city is the New Belgrad, created in the 50’s and still buoyantly developing.

Today the street is still full of life, thanks to artists that hang out there and plenty of cafes, souvenirs shops. A boulevard that also deserves your attention is Knez Mihailova, delineated in place where the main trading route of the city used to be in time when Romans were ruling it.
